Purpose
Purpose driven
Everything we do is driven by a fundamental belief in the power of personalised healthcare to transform lives and improve the world we live in.

Our goal is to broaden the application of personalised healthcare among patients, practitioners and society as a whole. As an independent business we are able to pursue this vision and prioritise social value over shareholder value.

Our values are more than just words. We actively work to promote personalised healthcare beyond our core business and work hard to support the growing personalised medicine community however we can.
Timeline

Nordic Group progress and growth year by year

1997
The beginning
Nordic Group began with the founding of Nordic Laboratories. A new era of laboratory tests focusing on underlying biochemistry that helps identify the cause of a clinical condition: allowing clinicians to target nutritional and biological requirements to relieve symptoms. We were the first to offer a microbiome test to the European market.
2002
From laboratory to clinic
With the opening of Nordic Clinic in Copenhagen, the vision moved into clinical practice, creating a space where functional and personalised healthcare could be applied in real patient settings. Over the years we built a chain of 7 clinics across Northern Europe.
2007
Building the online practitioner ecosystem
Another first: The launch of the online health portal NordicVMS and supplement division Nordic Health marked an important step forward, expanding Nordic Group beyond diagnostics into practitioner support, patient management, and a digital platform for test reporting.
2012
Introducing personlised genetic testing
With Medcheck and later the establishment of dnalife, Nordic Group expanded into pharmacogenomics, genetics, and attatching them to the philosophy of personalised healthcare, strengthening its role in the future of precision medicine.
2018
Fighting the pandemic of antibiotic resistance (AMR)
Nordic Group’s investment in Resistomap reflects our commitment to future-focused healthcare innovation. Based in Finland, Resistomap works in the critical field of antibiotic resistance monitoring, helping identify and measure resistance in the environment. The investment strengthens Nordic Group’s broader mission to support technologies that address major global health challenges through better data, earlier insight, and more preventive action.
2020
The investment wheel begins to turn
Nordic Group takes significant stakes in Functional Future, DSruptive, and ThermoCheck, bringing together real-food supplements and advanced health technology. From longitudinal data tracking to the early identification of potentially life-threatening inflammation, these investments strengthened our mission to prevent disease through innovation, insight, and earlier intervention
2023
Having serviced more than 1 million customers
Nordic Group has supported more than 1 million customers with a clear focus on preventative health and longevity. Through personalised testing, practitioner-led care, nutritional support, and health innovation, we help individuals take earlier, more informed action to protect and optimise their long-term health. Our ambition is not simply to respond to illness, but to support healthier lives built on prevention, resilience, and lasting vitality.
2025
Expanding prevention across borders and species
In 2025, Nordic Group continued its pursuit of longer, healthier lives through preventive and personalised healthcare models. With Chris Moore serving on the board of Yale University’s School of Nursing and samples being received from more than 100 countries, the group further strengthened its international position in health optimisation and early intervention. At the same time, Nordic Group expanded its ecosystem into pet health through the investment in Innovative Pet Lab, a company providing laboratory testing for pets. Together, these developments reinforced Nordic Group’s mission to prevent disease, support longevity, and extend personalised health insight across both human and animal health.
